A community of about 26 woman live in a town called San Cristobal at the Chapala’s Lake shore. They make dolls with tamal sheets. Each doll represents a traditional Mexican dress or a Mexican activity. These women also work by knitting palm to make any type of basket you could imagine, they also create pieces such as carpets, vases and any article you may use for decoration.
